Springs Liquor Outlet
Newsletter for Springs Liquor Outlet                             Vol. 1, May, 2004

Dear Readers,

In our wine department this month, we would like to congratulate our Wine Manager, Curt.  Curt received the highest score at this years Southern Wine and Spirits two-day Introductory Master Sommelier Course.  It really comes as no surprise to us.  Curt has been in the wine business for only seven years but has in that time studied in London at Leith’s School of Food, and Wine and also at the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust where he passed the first two levels toward the Master of Wine degree.  He is currently contemplating furthering his wine studies to the Master of Wine level.  Curt will have a column in our monthly letter discussing different wines and matching them with different foods and recipes.  Did I forget to mention that he was also a cook and chef for fifteen years prior to becoming involved in the wine business?  Come in and talk with Curt or any of our knowledgeable staff.
